Developmental Levels

I was reading an article in the New York Times yesterday morning. I can’t remember the title of the article, but the reporter at one point was writing about college graduates. The reporter made reference to the developmental age/state of young adults. He said that today’s 22 year olds are at the developmental stage of 17 years olds of 1980. In the 1990’s, when I was still working in higher education and student development, we had a term to describe traditional aged college students (18-21). We
