Question #4: Am i supporting the PMU industry by taking birth control?
my trainer told me that they use pregnant mare's urine in BC pills.
i think it's awful how they treat the broodmares, and how the foals are treated as by-products.
so by taking birth control pills, am i supporting this?
(yahoo fail: suggested category = politics>immigration. LOL)
that's a relief!
i just saw a peta video (i know, they make everything look awful!) and i wasn't sure if that was really what went on.

Question #5: After repeatedly trashing the unemployed, can the GOP be expected to lose those millions of potential votes?
I would never vote for someone who has said about me what the GOP has said regarding the unemployed.
Unemployed people tend to vote. Now, if we can get the poor to the polls (and the corporate cash out of politics), we'll actually have a representative Democracy...

Question #6: Aren't YOU glad to pay $73000 for Alan Grayson's self promoting DVD?
WASHINGTON — If U.S. Rep. Alan Grayson were a rock star, his latest PR blitz — a DVD sent to tens of thousands of Central Florida residents — would be called Grayson's Greatest Hits.
The 90-minute disc features video highlights from his first term in office, including one of him grilling Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke and another in which the Orlando Democrat preaches on the need to teach schoolchildren about the U.S. Constitution.
The DVD comes wrapped inside a mailer covered with promotional slogans: "Congressman Alan Grayson, Hard at Work for You," "He works hard. He pays attention. He gets things done," and "Video DVD Inside: Watch Congressman Grayson in Action!"

Question #7: When I hear of Corruption in politics then why do I always think about StarKist Pelosi.?
She is the protector of the corrupt.
Question #8: Not a Limbaugh Debate but father started listening to Limbaugh & seriously changed to more serious, rigid.....?
thinking and no one wants to spend time with him. He used to be fun to be around. How can we encourage Dad to little by little wean off listening to Rush Limbaugh. Everyone else can see the change except him. He answers questions exactly like Limbaugh would and it's really bizarre---please don't defend Limbaugh because I'm asking for counseling on this not emphasizing politics if that's what you would call him (?)
If I were the only one noticing it, I wouldn't bring it up.
He was an open-minded delightful person interested in everyone. Now he will turn off the tv if the President is on because Rush has convinced him the President is "evil."
I guess you have to be around him before & after this addiction to understand. Those of us "here for him" care about his mental health. I guess I shouldn't expect a stranger on YA to identify.

Question #9: What do reptile keepers think of this?
Cosmetics company Lush has teamed up with the APA, an animal rights organisation which opposes the keeping of any pet reptile in captivity. They published an article in the "Lush Times" attacking the wild trade in reptiles, however there was also a subtle undermining of reptile pets in general and Lush concluded with the fact that they do not agree with reptiles being kept as pets. The trade in wild reptiles is not something I necessarily agree with, I don't see it as necessary now most species can be bred in captivity, but the entire article was biased and hateful towards reptile owners. As a result they have released a limited edition chameleon bath bomb to support an animal rights charity that wants reptiles banned as pets, which would cause the death of the UK's suspected population of 8 million reptiles...after all they'd just be put to sleep wouldn't they?
I used to love Lush's soaps and things but now I will never buy them, and I'm gutted about that because they have some of the most amazing products! But I'm not going to support a company that wants our exotic pets put to sleep and reptile owners made into criminals, when many small fluffy pets are not exactly much more domesticated than ours!
Am I the only one wondering why a frigging SOAP company is getting involved in exotic pet politics? What do you think of Lush's actions?

Question #11: What percentage of Taiwan's male politicians have been castrated? Is it required?
I learned in school that all male political leaders in Taiwan are surgically castrated. This sounds extreme, but apparently they like it. The rationale is that without sex organs they can focus on politics better. Is this similar to the celibacy rule for Roman Catholic priests?
Question #12: Has yahoo answers under politics just become a place to voice your political beliefs?
Seriously I think it has, and this is a real question I want to know what you think. But I do think it has, and those people should go to a political forum to discuss that kind of stuff, this is for political questions. Even if they are opinions that's fine but I see questions like Who ALSO likes George Bush? (just picked a random one that proved my point), So just me? please answer let me know if you think it has and if you do how bad do you think its gotten or is gonna get?
